Alexei Adam Panshin (natural August 14, 1940) is an American author of science fiction (SF). He is peradventure better known for the 1968 Nebula Award-winning novel Rite of Passage.

Panshin published the survey of SF legend Robert A. Heinlein, Heinlein In Dimension, which won a Hugo award. He likewise co-wrote Globe Magic by owning married woman Cory Panshin.
